Anwar says again: No qualms for Lim to be DPM
Dato’ Sri Anwar Ibrahim says again that there is no qualms for Lim Kit Siang to be Deputy Prime Minister if Pakatan Rakyat take over Putrajaya. It is a good sign showing PR will be a very fair government.
To appoint a non-muslim to be DPM is a sign showing that PR are heading towards a non-racist politic. As long as I am concern, which I believe most Malaysians will support my view, we don’t need any specification on who will be PM or DPM. What Malaysian want is to put a correct individual to occupy it’s suitable position. We want a responsible Malaysian First’s leader to be our PR’s premier and it’s deputy regardless of races and sex. I accept anyone who is capable to be anyone. The most important thing is he or she must be capable to and must be a leader for all races in Malaysia.
Don’t mess up the positions like what Tun Mahathir did. He appointed a doctor to lead a department which faces plenty of legal issues and appointed a lawyer to take care of medical issues. That is what I meant. We want capable person to take care of things it suits his or her capability or profession. Health Minister should be a doctor in profession. Who is the current Health Minister? A nutritionist. Hmm.. still acceptable because the gap are not so big. Just imagine what will happen if a man in charge of Womens Affairs.
Lim Kit Siang will be a good DPM for sure. I am very sure he will be a Malaysian First’s DPM and there is no doubt for him to take up the post.
