We should be bursting with pride every time we talk or think about
For more than 50years, we have suffered under Barisan Nasional’s oppressive rule. Draconian laws are used excessively to stifle dissent and to clamp down on Pakatan Rakyat politicians, opposition supporters as well as social activists.
Incidences of racial discrimination are at an all-time high under the Najib administration. Our international competitiveness has declined drastically, hampering our aspiration to become an economic powerhouse.
Under the ‘leadership’ of UMNO, BN has failed
The political ‘tsunami’ of 308 resulted in BN losing its two-thirds majority for the first time in history but it still has not learnt its lesson.
In fact, BN has stepped up efforts to curtail our basic freedoms. Increasingly, BN uses the police force, MACC and the Election Commission to suppress democratic practices and to protect its cronies.
Through its iron-fist policies, BN prolongs its survival, and carries on ‘bleeding’ the people of their hard-earned money and the country of its resources.
The Government spent RM77 million in taxpayers’ money to engage a foreign company to create the 1Malaysia marketing campaign, to impress upon the people that BN has changed and is genuinely concerned about Malaysians.
Alas, history has shown us that nation-building programmes implemented without substantive political reform will not produce the desired results.
Oblivious to the plight of the ordinary folk and a skyrocketing Budget deficit, BN continues to subsidise cronies while reducing subsidies on basic goods and services such as food and fuel, burdening the people further.
BN has wasted billions in public funds, for example, the “submarine that could not submerge” and the “missing fighter jet engine” sagas and the mother of all scandals – PKFZ.
Without real political reform, corruption and abuse of power will grow and thrive.

马来西亚， 这是我们生长的国土，我们深爱着他。 然而， 我们的国家正处在一个茫然的十字路口。
高压统治大马超过半个世纪的国阵， 因为治国无方，贪腐滥权异常严重, 种族歧视无所不在, 导致大马的竞争力每况愈下!

308大选, 人民呼唤改变的疾风骤雨推倒了国阵的半壁江山, 然而, 国阵却没有从中吸取教训, 反而变本加厉地紧缩言论空间, 并通过反贪会, 选委会与警察部队全面镇压308 后蓬勃发展的民主运动，试图以铁腕手段来苟延残喘地延长国阵的政治生命。
另一方面，纳吉也使用怀柔政策，重金礼聘外国公关公司，推出所谓“一个马来西亚”口号，并大肆宣扬什么“经济转型计划”，“新经济模式”等令人眼花缭乱的大型包装工程，为的是给选民塑造“国阵已经改变”的印象。
挽救朋党，抛弃人民
然而，经济转型仍未见其效，国阵的朋党们依旧需索无度！在国际债务高企的当儿，国阵为了继续津贴其朋党的大型企业，不惜从平民百姓身上开刀，削减日常用品津贴，导致通货膨胀，老百姓叫苦连天！此外，如国防部购买的战斗机不见了引擎，34亿购买的潜水艇下不了水，这都说明了没有政治改革，贪污腐败就永远根治不了，国家的资源就一直给国阵贪污和挥霍下去！

政治改革如逆水行舟，不进则退！308 政治大海啸是一个靠你我共同打造的新政局，它其实距离两线制已经不远了！只要再向前一步，我们就可以成功改朝换代，让国阵当一次反对党！

Reform Plan
2010年12月19日，人民联盟在槟城成功召开了第二届全国代表大会，通过了“挽救大马，改朝换代”的共同纲领，并制定了成功赢取政权后首100天将会实施的新政，以呼唤全民天力挺大马转型成为一个两线制的新兴民主国家。
On 10 December 2010, PR held its second national convention in which all three parties adopted a common agenda featuring a 100-day Reform Plan should PR be successful in taking Putrajaya.
Let that be the stepping stone for PR in its endeavour to transform our beloved
1． 全面改革国家机关如：选举委员会，反贪污委员会，总检察署与马来西亚
皇家警察部队，以恢复政府行政制度的信誉。
Reform national institutions of government, such as the Election Commission,
the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, the Attorney General’s Chambers
and the Malaysian Royal Police Force to introduce transparency and restore
accountability.
2. 废除内安法令 (ISA)。
Abolish the Internal Security Act.
3. 谕令国库控股、公积金局与其它持有收费大道股权的政联企业把股权国有 化， 废除过费。
Direct Khazanah, the EPF and all other government bodies that own highway
concessions to complete the transfer of these assets to the Government with the
purpose of abolishing tolls.
4. 重塑国家津贴结构，以减少发给私人界的津贴（如给予独立发电厂的190
亿令吉天然气津贴），并转为用于支付人民的津贴。
Restructure national subsidies by reducing corporate sector subsidies (such as IPP
subsidies ) and transferring these savings toward subsidies for the rakyat.
5. 重组公务员的薪资以肯定公务员的角色与贡献。作为一个开始，每名教师
的每月薪金将提高500令吉以肯定他们教国育民的贡献；为回馈乐龄人士
对国家的贡献，每年给予超过60岁的国民1000令吉。
Recognise the roles and contributions of public servants by re-evaluating salary
structures; starting with an increase in teachers’ allowances by RM500 per month.
6. 水供为人民的权益，将己私营化的水务管理特许合约将交还政府。
Restore all private water concessions to the Government.
7. 为城市与半乡区居民提供免费的无线上网服务。
Deploy free Wi-Fi internet services to all Malaysians in urban and semi-urban
areas.
8. 废除FELDA垦殖区， 以便能够把由其管理的园地交给联邦土地发展局的
第二代与第三代居民。
Dissolve Felda and redistribute estate land to the second and third generation of
Felda settlers.
9. 把沙巴、沙拉越、登嘉楼与吉兰丹的石油税提高至20% 。
Increase oil royalties to Sabah,
10. 成立皇家调查委员会以解决困扰沙巴的外来移民与公民权课题， 以及
各种贪污丑闻， 包括130亿令吉的巴生港口自由贸易区丑闻、520亿令吉
的土著股票流失、麦卡控股等。
Set up a Royal Commission of inquiry to resolve the problems of illegal
immigration and citizenship in Sabah.
